Yes, you read it right. Apparently designers want us to wear leather this summer. These leather clothes are very light and colourful like these from Ferragamo, Fendi and Marni.

2. Sheer Layers

Summer wont be complete without sheer clothes! Designers love skin baring details and it is just very sexy come summer. Seen at Bottega Veneta, Emilio Pucci and Alberta Ferretti.

3. Shimmer and Shine

You can wear shiny metallic pieces even during the day now! These subtle yet chic sequined pieces from No 21, Etro and Ferragamo arent too overpowering to be worn during the day time.

4. Deep V

Lucky for the flat chested women, these deep V necklines would be perfect for you! Just make sure that they are not too deep that will make you look trashy. These looks are from Roberto Cavalli, Marni and Bottega Veneta.

5. Beloved Stripes

Vertical, horizontal and even diagonal stripes ruled in Milan. Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino and Etro have the most interesting iterations for stripes!

6. Asian Inspired

From cuts. voluminous shapes and rich embroidered fabrics were all over the Milan runways. Etro showed Kimono style clothes, Emilio Pucci had embroidered dragons and Prada had Japanese inspired silhouettes.

The only problem with live streaming shows is that it is sometimes hard to find schedules over the internet so I am lucky to have stumbled upon CatwalkLive.tv on twitter last year. I first found out about this awesome site through a twitter friend I have, who also happens to be its creator, Roz. Her reason for creating this site is to be able to simplify the task of finding fashion week live streams.

It is the ONLY website with complete schedules for each of the four big fashion weeks (New York, London, Milan and Paris). Its twitter account, @catwalklivetv sends out tweets daily about the shows that are livestreaming and which shows will clash with each other.

Last season CatwalkLive.TV listed around 160 live streams across the four fashion weeks, with nearly 100 coming from New York, 40 in London and Milan and nearly ten from Paris.

CatwalkLive.TV also features a widget for blogs which display a simplified schedule which you can display on your website, and there is also help and advice so that you can make the most out of fashion month live streams.

If you are looking for a sixties inspired shoes, the fall 2012 shoes of Prada is perfetct. Big chunky heels, flower prints and cute embellishments on the shoes.

From brocade to lace to embellishments, it was seen all over the runway especially at the Dolce & Gabbana show where Domenico and Stefano covered their entire collection in elaborate gilt and pearl ornamentation with plenty of Roman Catholic iconography thrown in. There were bejeweled crosses and embellishments at Aquilano.Rimondi cut gold foil patters at Marni.

2. Head to Toe prints

If you are up to it, head to toe print is very big trend in Milan. This is a simple concept that’ll stretch your wardrobe a bit further: buy building blocks in the same print to wear separately or, more dramatically, together—for a full dress or pantsuit look.

3. Black Black Black

Black is perfect for fall as we know but the black for this season’s fall is very dramatic. There’s a distinct Film Noir feel in the air, with ‘40s silhouettes as seen in Antonio Maras’ lean, World War II-era dresses and Gucci’s Hollywood Regency sets.

4. Textures

Texture play, mixing prints, patterms and colors are still in season. The visual interest comes in the unexpected texture combinations: lamb fur with latex and thick knits at Missoni, and leather with wool next to micro-pleats and lace at Fendi.
