Staff Benda Bilili at Union Chapel
Open your diaries to March 15th and write ‘must see the most awesome of awesomeness bands on this night!’ Because Congolese rumba music legends Staff Benda Bilili will be playing a one-off concert at Union Chapel, Islington to commemorate the release of their movie.
Benda Bilili is the most inspiring film you’ll see this year. It tells the story of a group of paraplegic street performers from the streets of war-ravaged Kinshasa as they go from practising in the city zoo to playing major stages around the world. And it makes the Justin Bieber film look like an episode of Glee. Check out the trailer…
The movie hits UK screens on March 18th but you can see both the group and the film at this exclusive screening on the 11th. Visit www.bendabilili.co.uk for more details.

Justin Bieber raps
So not content with being the biggest pop star out and teenage girl + cougar poster boy, it seems young Bieber wants to throw his hat in the ring at rap as well. What’s worse is he’s quite good…

Lil P-Nut
If Justin Bieber grew up in the hood he’d be Lil P-Nut, a 7-year-old rapper from Memphis! Talk about starting young, this little whippersnapper already has the customary rapping on the steps swagger down to a tee and even has the ice to match.
Is this cute or should alarm bells be ringing about what’s on mini-Drake’s mind??
And like a good movie, lets go back to see how our man Lil P-Nut arrived at his current position (Warning: this vid contains a slight on Superman’s character and a Finding Nemo spoiler)…
This kid is hard!
