Best looks from the MET GALA red carpet
Everyone is still making fun of Kim Kardashian’s disastrous floral Givenchy dress until now. It has made a big splash that it has really overshadowed the best dressed women at the gala. Here are those who made it on my list:
1. Amanda Seyfried in vintage Givenchy

2. Kristen Stewart in Stella McCartney

3. Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen in Anthony Vaccarello

5. Cara Delevingne in Burberry

7. Emma Watson in Prabal Gurung

8. Nina Dobrev in Monique Lhuillier

10. Kate Bosworth in Balmain with Olivier Rousteing

Style tricks for fall
I know that fall is a long way from now but I am just letting you know these tricks now so that you will still have time to learn them. Maybe some of these tricks can be done this spring!
Sometimes evening gowns are a little bit too loose in the waist area. The solution? Put a harness or a belt on it just like this look from Prabal Gurung.
Jumpsuits can sometimes be intimidating. Dial it down a little bit by wearing a solid coloured blazer on top of it just like this look from Jen Kao.
Layer your gauzy white dresses on top of each other to crate an ethereal look like this from BCBG Max Azria.
Roll up the sleeves on your T-shirt into your coat sleeves. From wrist-length to bracelet-length to elbow-length and beyond, it’s an easy way to bring some continuity to your outfit. (look from Karen Walker)
Wear your short-sleeve knits outdoors with upper-arm length Cinderella gloves. (ICB by Prabal Gurung)
Don’t shove your cutout dresses to the back of your closet the moment the temps get a bit too cold to wear them. Slip a slim-fit shirt underneath. it’s now a dress for all seasons. (Tanya Taylor)
Here is a quick guide of 2013′s colours:

Menswear Trend Report for Spring
- Camo print is stronger than ever this spring. It is being used in everything from sneakers and ties to outer and inner wear. Designers are trying to make this print different by tweaking its colour and its pattern. (looks from Valentino Spring 2013)
- For womenswear, it is called pastel colours but for men, it is called colour bleached look. These washed out items look so much better if worn together. There is just a bigger impact. (looks from Michael Bastian Spring 2013)
- Bold stripes will be big this season. One reason every guy should embrace this trend? It visually broadens your frame. It’s a good mind trick that every guy would love. (looks from Maison Kitsune, J.Crew and Closed spring 2013)
- Double breasted suits are becoming common on the runways so it isnt surprising that it is huge this season. The cut is now more modern to suit the stylish man who wants to wear it. (looks from Louis Vuitton and Giorgio Armani spring 2013)
- There’s a new way on wearing Polo shirts this season. Wear it under tailored blazers and suits. It is a dressy but casual look that will be perfect for a classy night out or date night. (looks from Junya Watanabe spring 2013)

Time to break out your spring clothes!
Spring is almost here (at least for some who arent experiencing terrible weather) and it is time to start wearing those shorts and sweaters again while we are experiencing the transitional weather from winter to spring. This is usually called the transitional clothing or pre-spring (or pre-fall) fashion. Even though it is not that warm yet, it is time to hide those thick wool coats and boots and start wearing lighter coats and booties. Here are some quick tips on how you can wear some summer clothes during this transition weather!
- Lightweight sneakers
Time to break out those canvas sneakers again but at this time, you cant exactly wear it with shorts or dresses yet. Wear it with ankle length trousers and oversized sweaters.
- Cropped camis
This is the ultimate must have for summer but during this transition weather, wear it with high waist pants or pair it with a leather jacket or sweater.
- Romper
It practically looks like a dress sometimes so for this kind of weather, wear it with a nice leather jacket and some boots.
- Colourful jacket
Gone are the days where dreary colours are worn. Choose a light jacket with a nice spring pattern to brighten up your day!
- Wide leg shorts
This spring, these wide leg shorts are coming back and it is very easy to use it. Wear it with a lazy comfortable sweatshirt.

Milan Fashion Week Fall 2013 Top Trends
More and more fur

This is always a given for fall but this time the fur was given different textures and patterns. Time to update your fur collection with these new ones!
Flowy skirts

The comfy and flirty skirts are back again and the fashion world is loving it! Pair it up with a tight top and you would look totally classic.
Menswear for Women

Androgyny is still a huge trend for fall as seen in Milan runways. These suits and tuxedos for women are softer and a little slouchy though compared to last year’s tailored look.
Kickass pair of boots

Thigh highs, knee length or ankle boots, they are all awesome.
