Digusting to hear this kind of racist vitriol being spoken publicly. Yes there are those that keep those thoughts to themselves but even worse are the ones that speak this nonsense publicly and use little child for protection. It’s hard to believe the little kid won’t grow up to be the same and that’s the saddest part.

London Riots
The rioting in LDN seems to be getting worse and the opportunists look to be filling their boots in every part of town. I walked past shops around Chelsea today, glass everywhere, police cordons and dog sections at 8.30 in the morning?!
My mate’s office in Tottenham is burnt to rubble – most people wouldn’t mind a few days off work but it’s his own business. I even heard a story about a Tesco store in Peckham getting robbed for all their scratch cards… Watch the video below and how the police got overrun in Woolwich. Woolwich? The pictures below depict the chaos in detail. This is not the solution.

They call it many things “White Guy Window Dressing”, “White Guy in a Tie”, “The Token White Guy Gig,” or, simply, a “Face Job.” The concept is a simple one. Chinese companies pay white foreigners high prices to become fake employees or business partners for a day, week or month.
The idea behind it is the age-old Chinese concept of face. If a company has a few foreigners at its meetings or hanging around the Chariman, it means that company is prestigeous, has money and vital connection to businesses abroad.
“For example, Zatkin was paid 2,000 yuan (about $300) to fly, along with a couple of Russian models, to a small city in the central province of Henan where he delivered a speech for the grand opening ceremony of a jewelry store there.
“I was up on stage with the mayor of the town, and I made a speech about how wonderful it was to work with the company for 10 years and how we were so proud of all of the work they had done for us in China,” Zatkin said. “They put up a big bandstand and the whole town was there and some other local muckety-mucks”"
So it’s all about perception then. I wonder what they would think if a black man turned up to a meeting? I’m just curious because I might be able to make some good money by getting paid to stay away. I want double pay!

Self Proclaimed Messiah!
Sunday is a perfect day for reflection or perhaps I’m just bored and wished I had woken up in time for mass this morning. While searching for alternative salvation on the internet, I came across the story of Jesus of Siberia. Sergei Torop, an Russian ex-traffic cop believes he is the literal reincarnation of Jesus Christ. He has about 5,000 devoted followers, among them intellectuals, artists and professionals who flock to worship him in the small isolated village of Petropavlovka – more than 2000 miles from Moscow.
So 2 years after Torop was sacked from his job in 1989, something suddenly ‘awoke’ inside him and he instantly knew that he was the second coming of Christ – 2,000 years after he was first crucified. I guess his first miracle was convincing so many other people that this was true. It’s a really creative way of dealing with unemployment but it seems to be working. Interesting facts I uncovered during my research on Torop was that you have to give all your money to him if you want to join his cult (his followers are banned from handling money) and his commune is allegedly protected by the Russian mafia.
All of this got me thinking about human nature. It seems people have an overwhelming desire to believe in something. I would bet any money that Vissarion – or ‘The Teacher’ (as Torop is otherwise known) has only vague ideas about what he stands for yet is full of promise. You only get away with stuff like this if you encourage enthusiasm over rationality. His look (copying the traditional image of Jesus Christ) clearly emphasises style over substance, visual over anything intellectual. Reading through entries on the internet, you note classic cult like traits. New sect members get rituals to perform and are asked to make great sacrifices. The scary thing is that there is many similarities between the structure he employs and organised traditional religion.
I think Machiavelli said it best “Men are so simple of mind, and so much dominated by their immediate needs, that a deceitful man will always find plenty who are ready to be deceived”. Will the people of Petropavlovka one day wake up to the fact that Vissarion is no different to Charles Manson, David Koresh and Jim Jones?

Million Dollar Drop Fail
Excruciatingly painful: A young couple lost $800,000 on US version of Million Pound Drop gameshow (ie. Million Dollar Drop) after answering a question right.
Contestants Gabe Okoye and Brittany Mayi tussled with the answer to ‘Which of these were sold in stores first: Macintosh computer, Sony Walkman or Post-It Notes?’ before eventually settling – at the more than gentle persuasion of Gabe – on Post-It Notes.
The show said they were wrong and they watched their money disappear down the chute, an experience that seemed to break the young gentleman who was convinced on Post-It Notes. But it turns out the show was actually wrong as Post-It Notes were market tested under a different name in stores across four cities before the perceived answer the Walkman.
The show has invited the couple back on for a second chance but they are yet to take up the offer after the harrowing experience…
