Swimming in Soho
Eagerly anticipated Marshall Street Leisure Centre in London’s Soho is now open to the public as of today. The grade II listed building and marble lined swimming pool has been restored to its former glory (closed since 1997) and is an exemplar of 1930s architecture. We’ll put up some proper pics after we test the water.

London’s first “fish spa” has opened @ Aqua Sheko in Kensington.
This latest beauty craze is a treatment which uses tiny carp fish to painlessly exfoliate and remove dead skin. Customers put their feet in glass tanks filled with water while 150 Garra Rufa fish (a toothless variety of carp) nibble at dead skin.
By all accounts it feels extremely theraputic. What’s more it was opened by a former Lehman Brother’s employee escaping the rat race. We love it. Live the dream !
