StreetFest 2011
So a while ago now, the Love 4 Culture team took our pop-up shop down to StreetFest 2011 in Shoreditch on May 29th. The first and only live art festival in the UK had a whopping show planned including skater and biker competitions, dance offs, and live performances by the likes of Wretch 32 and Ghostpoet. And we rocked up to help people get hold of a London tee. Check out some long overdue snaps and video footage from the day…

Shallow diving
This is insane. The guy does a swan dive from 11 metres (36 ft) above ground into 12 inches of water and nails it perfectly…
Apparently Professor Splash as he’s known set a new world record and has 25 years’ professional high-diving experience.

Alex presents Commando
I haven’t posted for a while. Life gets like that sometimes – busy. This is great video which seeks to change the way people perceive a certain part of the world. It’s awesome, my only thought was, who allowed a 9 year old to watch Commando (certificate 18). I guess in some parts of the world 9 year old kids have seen more than most adults in other places. Check out the charity Mama Hope …

Draw and Feel Alive Collection
It’s been a good weekend. We got a delivery of samples from our new Draw and Feel Alive range yesterday from our trusted printer, Paul Layton. The man moves slowly but his quality is unbeatable. The collection includes t-shirts and jumpers featuring designs by none other than artist, VJ, illustrator Shantell Martin who was the creative talent behind the “Draw and Feel Alive” event we hosted in November last year night, see pictures here.
The garments will go on sale shortly with a portion of proceeds donated to Clothing 4 Culture’s Draw and Feel Alive campaign which intends to raise as many pens and pencils for children in Ghana as possible. Read more about it here. Give us some feedback please !
