Great LDN
So how great has London been the last couple of weeks? The Games have gone down without a hitch, we’ve been treated to feats of heroism on a daily basis, sightings of people smiling on the tube have become a regular occurrence and even the sun has been hanging around more often. And although the curtains are about to close on the greatest show on earth we don’t have to stop basking in the glory of our great city. While we’re giving ourselves a collective pat on the back lets not forget that there are still people less fortunate than us in this wonderful city for whom the last couple of weeks haven’t changed much. In fact the number of homeless families in England has risen by 14 percent over the past year and with London being a hub for homeless people there is still a lot to be done to help.
The premise is sill the same: a percentage from every t-shirt sold goes to The Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields to provide a homeless person with a hot meal and hot shower at the UK’s busiest homeless centre!
