Kate Middleton, Repeat Offender
There are a lot of reasons why women look up to Kate Middleton. One of them is that she is a very simple girl who likes to wear high street fashion and is not afraid to repeat her outfits on public outings. Gone are the days when the number one rule in fashion is not to be seen in the same outfit twice in a row. This is why the Duchess is very much admired. I hope we all learn a little something from her! Here are some of the many outfits she has repeated through the years:
M-Missoni Coat:
We first saw this rather drab plain coat back in March of this year–livened up with flowers–when she wore it to a tea at Fortnum & Mason in London. Here it is again last week, when Kate attended a Diamond Jubilee event, in all its monochrome glory.
Katherine Hooker Coat/Jenny Packham Dress:
Kate Middleton did a double repeat for this one, wearing the coat over a Jenny Packham dress that she’d previously debuted during her North American tour. We first saw the Katherine Hooker coat in June 2011 at an Order of the Garter service.
LK Bennett Nude Heels:
She’s worn these babies more times than we can count. This is but a small sampling. We hope she has some good shoe polish, because they must really take a beating.
Reiss Dress:
This Reiss dress, which KMidd wore in her official engagement photos, was the one that arguably started the whole retail “Kate Middleton effect” (ie everything that she wears sells out). She was so happy with how it looked in those Testino-lensed pics that she pulled it out again in Canada last year with a smashing red topper and maple leaf pin.
Zara Dress:
Kate donned a black and white circle print dress from Zara in 2007 when she spent the night bar-hopping in London. She wore it again in June 2011 to a wedding.
Blue Reiss Dress:
Kate isn’t afraid to raid her mom’s closet once in a while. Here she is in March of this year on the occasion of her first public speech, wearing an old dress of her mom’s from 2008. She also borrowed Mum’s hat back in 2009.
