7 Stylish Music Videos!
Fashion and music are closely related that is why a lot of designers and stylist go gaga just so they can be featured in a music video. The costumes and clothes in a music video should directly reflect the message of the song so sometimes, there are hits and misses. I’ve found the 7 stylish music videos that have really good clothes and let me share them with you!
Lady Gaga – Born This Way
This is like a powerhouse video because it is directed by Nick Knight and Raquel Zimmerman and Rico “Zombie Boy” Genest was in it. It was also styled by Nicola Formichetti, creative director of Thierry Mugler. The clothes Lady Gaga is wearing are custom made just for this video!
Beyonce : Run the World
Ahh Beyonce. Everybody loves her and I love her fashion sense! She wears Alexander McQueen, Givenchy Haute Couture, Puccci, Gareth Pugh and Jean Paul Gaultier in this video and she looks amazing!
Rye Rye – New thing
This song and video is actually for the promotion of Prabal Gurung’s Resort 2012 collection. Of course she is wearing head to toe Prabal Gurung and she looks amazing! Also, the song is very catchy.
Lana Del Ray – Video Games
She was big in 2011 and I am sure she will still be big this year. Very talented girl and this video is nice because it looks like an old Hollywood movie. There is a vintage feel to the video and it is nice seeing vintage clothes too.
Adele- Someone Like You
Adele wore a Moschino coat all throughout and it does not matter because she’s walking around Paris and it is just really breath taking. Paris is beautiful in black and white and add Adele in her 60s glamour look singing to you and it is just magical!
Florence + The Machine – Shake It Out
Florence is clearly a designer favorite. She sang at the Chanel Spring 2012 show and she was an inspiration of Frida Giannini when she was designing Gucci’s Fall 2011 collection. In this video, she wears couture dresses from Valentino and Elie Saab.
Duran Duran – Girl Panic
Can I declare that this is the best video of the decade? What more can you ask for? Duran Duran, supermodels like Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen, Eva Herzigova, and Cindy Crawford are in it! Oh and did I mention that they are wearing Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, Giles Deacon and Roberto Cavalli? Yes.
